Our Story: Built by parents, for parents

DiaperSpot started after one too many "there has to be a changing table somewhere" moments. We built a map that prioritizes speed, trust, and real parent feedback, so families can get back to the day.

Parents don’t need another app - they need an answer in under a minute. DiaperSpot is built around a simple promise: two taps from stress to directions.

Our family loves day trips around the PNW, from Leavenworth, WA to Seaside, OR. In 2023 we had twin daughters, which made diaper changing even more challenging. With two little ones to care for, we quickly realized the importance of reliable information about changing facilities.

In the perfect world, we’d find changing tables in both men’s and women’s restrooms, or a family restroom that lets both parents help at once. More often than not, we had to improvise in less-than-ideal locations. We’re not alone, and that experience inspired DiaperSpot.

For first-time parents, navigating public spaces with a newborn can be stressful. DiaperSpot aims to provide peace of mind by offering a trusted resource for clean, safe, and convenient changing spots so families can focus on enjoying time together.

We took our twins out within the first six weeks to the Viking Festival in Poulsbo, WA. We couldn’t find a changing table anywhere in town and ended up changing our daughters on a park bench. Moments like that are why we keep building.
