Our Story
Built by parents, for parents.
DiaperSpot started after one too many "there has to be a changing table somewhere" moments. We built a map that prioritizes speed, trust, and real parent feedback, so families can get back to the day.

Why we built it
Parents do not need another app - they need an answer in under a minute. DiaperSpot is built around a simple promise: two taps from stress to directions.
As parents ourselves, we know that finding a changing table can be a stressful experience. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for families to find clean, safe, and convenient changing spots when they need them most. Our family loves to day trip around the PNW, we have been known to take a quick trip to Leavenworth, WA or down to Seaside, OR and everywhere in-between.
In 2023 we had twin daughters, which made our diaper changing adventures even more challenging. With two little ones to care for, we quickly realized the importance of having reliable information about changing facilities. In the perfect world, we found a business that had changing tables in both mens and womens restrooms, or even had a family restroom which made diaper changes so much easier for our family as we could each take a daughter and change them at the same time. More often than not, we found ourselves in situations where we had to improvise and change diapers in less-than-ideal locations, and we know we are not alone in this experience. This inspired us to create DiaperSpot, so that other families could benefit from our experiences and find the support they need while on the go.
For first time parents, we understand the challenges of navigating public spaces with a newborn. DiaperSpot aims to provide peace of mind by offering a trusted resource for finding changing facilities, allowing parents to focus on enjoying their time with their little ones and we encourage all families to get out and explore the world. We ventured out with our twins within the first 6 weeks to attend Viking Festival in Poulsbo, WA. We couldn't find a changing table anywhere in town and had to change our daughters on a public park bench
What "verified" means
Community submissions are reviewed, corrected, and tagged with the details families actually care about: where the restroom is, whether it is clean, and what to expect when you arrive.
How you can help
- Share one trusted location you already use.
- Leave a rating and a quick note (the tips are gold).
